Buying a product from our shop
We want you to be delighted with your products and we won’t sleep well if you’re not. So if you have any questions or queries, please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Payments are processed seamlessly via our web site using Stripe, a secure and well-trusted online payment processor. All major debit and credit cards are accepted and you don’t need to have a Stripe account to make the payment. After you have placed your order you will receive e-mail confirmation of the transaction.
All our shop prices are inclusive of VAT at the standard rate. If you need a VAT receipt you can request one by emailing your name, address and order number to: email@example.com
All our products are carefully packed to make sure they cope with the demands of the postal network and reach you in tip-top condition. Your order will usually be dispatched within 2 working days of payment. If there is the slightest chance of delay, we’ll inform you immediately by e-mail.
Postage is calculated for you at the check out. We send using the Royal Mail ‘1st Class Signed For’ service, so a signature will be required when you receive your parcel. If the package isn’t signed for, it will be returned to your local depot for collection. If it is not collected within one week, it will be returned to us. We are happy to resend items but would ask you to pay for the postage costs of resending the parcel.
As a guide, UK Signed For deliveries take 2-3 days (though can take longer at Christmas).
We are happy to send our products around the world. Available countries can be selected in the checkout, where shipping costs are calculated for you. Please be aware that international deliveries may be subject to local import duties and taxes. These charges are beyond our control, and any extra cost needs to be covered by you, the customer.
As a guide, International Signed-For deliveries take 5-15 days.
All orders are processed in British Pounds Sterling.
If you would like to collect your order yourself from our printshop in Silverstone, Northamptonshire, great! Select ‘local pickup’ in the checkout, and we’ll email you to arrange a time to pickup.
Unpacking your print
Every print is carefully checked before packing. When unpacking, be VERY CAREFUL and make sure your fingers are CLEAN and DRY. A3+ size prints are sent in tubes. To unpack, reach into the tube and GENTLY twist the print to make it smaller, then SLOWLY pull the print out from the centre. DO NOT pull at a corner as you will create creases. We are not responsible for prints damaged during unpacking.
If the goods arrive and are damaged or faulty please inform us within 48 hours and we will arrange a replacement.
If you’re returning your order for any other reason, under the Consumer Protection Distance Selling act you are entitled to a full refund if the item is returned in its original condition within seven days of receipt. Please send all returns back in their original packaging, state the reason for the return, and tell us whether you’d like a refund or exchange. Retain your proof of posting, as we cannot be held responsible for items that get lost or damaged in transit. Please allow us up to two weeks to process your refund or exchange.
The copyright of this site and the products within it are retained by Beanwave Ltd. Buying a print does not give you any rights for reproduction. Images, logos, descriptions or text from our site must not be reproduced in any way without written permission.
We have endeavoured to give an accurate likeness of the colour and quality of our products. Due to the hand printed nature of our products and differences of computer screens, reproduction may vary slightly.
Commissioning our services
Estimates – We endeavour to provide accurate estimates based upon experience, but these costs may go up or down depending on a more detailed understanding of the full requirements.
Fixed quotes – Wherever possible we try to provide fixed costs for a piece of work or project. This gives you and us a clear idea of what work is required and how much it will cost.
All our prices are quoted excluding VAT. We are VAT registered, so VAT is charged in addition.
We require 50% payment to commence each stage or listed item of work, with the remainder to be settled upon completion. The remaining 50% is due within 28 days. Please note that we will commence staged work only once any previous invoices have been settled.
If the full payment is not paid within 28 days, a ‘late payment’ fee will be charged at a 5% rate of the unpaid invoice, along with a fixed sum for the cost of recovering a late payment under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. This initial 5% will be added upon each recurring 28 day period until the full amount has been received.
If for any reason the project is cancelled after work has started, a cancellation fee based on the stage of projects completion shall be paid by the Client, and Beanwave Ltd retain ownership of all copyrights to the artwork.
Rights and Ownership
On undertaking a project you agree that any creative work, ideas, imagery and intellectual property created will belong to Beanwave Ltd until the entire project fees have been settled in full. At which point we agree to transfer ownership to the Client. Any unused creative proposals will remain the intellectual property of Beanwave Ltd unless otherwise agreed. Beanwave Ltd reserves the right to display final artwork as part of our work portfolio. Beanwave Ltd reserves the right to photograph all completed designs or installations, to use for publications, or any other promotional purpose. Beanwave Ltd will always aim to produce original work, but design searches, name searches and Intellectual Property (IP) checks remain the responsibility of the client. Beanwave Ltd has no liability to cover any designs approved by the client.
We will supply proofs and PDF files as appropriate for printing, or other graphic files as required in the job scope or quote. Costs for design work do not cover the release of our copyright design source files, including (but not restricted to) indd, psd, ai, or other source files or raw code. If the Client requires these files for transfer to an in-house or other designer, they will be subject to a separate quotation or ‘buy-out’ charge unless otherwise agreed.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions and Quotes
The placement of an order for any services offered by Beanwave Ltd, by email, verbally or in writing, is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
